New And Returning TV Series 2013: ABC, NBC, Fox
The networks continue to announce renewals and series orders, before the upfront sessions on this coming Monday. Here are the latest updates:
More new comedies for 2012-2013
ABC renewscomedies Modern Family, The Middle and dramas Once Upon A Time, Suburgatory, Revenge, Grey’s Anatomy and Castle. Reality shows Dancing With The Stars and Shark Tank were also given new season orders.
ABC series Cougar Town moves to TBS. who also ordered two new comedies: Deon Cole’s Black Box, written by and starring Conan writer and performer Deon Cole and executive produced by Conan O’Brien; and Who Gets The Last Laugh?, from Punk’d co-creators Jason Goldberg and Ashton Kutcher. Both shows will premiere in 2013.
NBC continues the new series orders with medical drama Do No Harm and sudser Notorious, which will now be called Infamous.
As for the returning series on the Peacock, we will see Parenthood with a fourth season order, Grimm and Smash.
NBC orders new comedies for 2012-2013 season
Fox has renewed animated comedy Family Guy for an 11th season and American Dad for an eighth.
