The last time we saw British actor, Mark Addy on the our TV screens, his character, Robert Baratheon, King of the Seven Kingdoms was being killed off during the first season of Game of Thrones. And it is safe to say that you couldn’t get much more of a difference for his latest role in Sky 1′s brand new new series, Trollied which starts this week.

In this eight part sitcom, which is set in a fictional supermarket, ‘Valco’, on the outskirts of Manchester in the north-west of England, Mark takes on the role of confirmed bachelor and head butcher, Andy, who in his spare time works on an air-fix model of the HMS Ark Royal.

Addy said he was drawn to the show because “the supermarket is a place that people from all walks of life know and are familiar with, but I’d never seen anything like this before.”

The cast of Trollied is definitely a strong one and also includes Jane Horrocks (probably best known for her role as Bubble in the TV series Absolutely Fabulous) who plays Julie, the acting deputy manager, and Jason Watkins (Being Human) as the supermarket’s manager, Gavin.
