After weeks of speculation, which saw the names of various celebrities such as Charlie Sheen and Pamela Anderson being linked with this year’s Celebrity Big Brother, we were put out of our misery last night, as 11 ‘celebrities’ finally entered the house.

And despite this year’s celebrities not being the A listers we had been promised, the line up is certainly a mixed one which will undoubtedly keep us amused over the next three weeks. Read on to find out who this year’s contestants are.

Kerry Katona – best known for being part of the girl band, Atomic Kitten and then making the successful transition into a television career after leaving the band, starring in several of her own reality television shows.

Tara Reid – American actress who is best known for her role in the film American Pie.

Amy Childs – Glamour girl and beautician who rose to fame last year when she emerged as the star of the award winning reality show, The Only Way is Essex which she recently quit so she could take part in Big Brother.

Darryn Lyons – Australian born Lyons was given the title ‘Mr Paparazzi’, for his celebrity scoops including exclusive photographs of Princess Diana and Dodi Al-Fayad, and David Beckham and Rebecca Loos.

Sally Bercow – the outspoken wife of the House of Commons speaker, John Bercow.

Lucian Laviscount – the youngest contestant at 19 years old, Lucian has appeared on our TV screens in Coronation Street and more recently, in the BBC Drama, Waterloo Road.

Pamela Bach – an American actress and producer, Pamela is probably best known for being David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife.

Bobby Sabel – a fashion model, who has appeared in a number of high-profile advertising campaigns.

Jedward aka John and Edward Grimes – the twins first shot to fame in 2009 when they appeared on the X Factor and since then have become popular TV personalities appearing in countless TV show.
