More New Cast On How I Met Your Mother 7

Casting updates are great little spoilers. They don’t tell you the whole thing, but they make you think. Two casting updates are on my desk this morning, both for the seventh season of How I Met Your Mother.

HIMYM season 7 – premiere episode spoilers

Who else joins the cast on season 7?

The first to guest star on the show is newcomer Adam Tsekhman. You saw him on Flash Forward, NCIS: LA season finale, and 24, and you will see him soon on the movie Piece Of Mind. The canadian actor will take a role in the season premiere of HIMYM.

The second guest star is Sunny co-star Jimmi Simpson, who will join Ted and the gang, just to make Marshall’s life more complicated. Simpson will play an old college buddy of Marshall, who posts an embarassing video on youTube, which might spoil Marshall’s chances of getting his dream job. In the clip Jason Segel’s character is performing his personal creation, Beercules, “the greatest party animal in the booze-sodden history of Wesleyan College.” Marshall’s problems will only get worse when he has to beg Jimmi Simpson’s Peter to take it off the web.
Jimmi Simpson’s episode on HIMYM will debut on CBS in late September.

How I Met Your Mother seventh season will return to CBS on September 19.
